This is a significant marketing tool for promoting your High Country business through the Brutal.
Ridership and support continues to expand thanks to the determined efforts of the Blue Ridge Brutal committee and dedicated help from our Sponsors and Volunteers. Our riders love the Brutal – please read some of the testimonials on our website – www.blueridgebrutal.org.
What about 2017?
We continue to focus on growing the Brutal – our aim is to achieve the challenging goal of 600 riders. This could bring up to $200,000 of economic benefit to our immediate area. To achieve this we are already initiating our marketing strategies which include the distribution of brochures, posters, and Save the Date pads throughout multiple states across the USA. In addition, we are listed on major cycling event websites. We will promote our ride on the radio, TV, in regional magazines, and we will communicate the event widely to bike clubs and shops. We are also benefiting from significant support from our rider base. The word is out about the Brutal and we anticipate word of mouth alone will continue to boost rider numbers.

Please help the 28th annual Blue Ridge Brutal attract more riders, families and friends and achieve our 2017 target. The ASU 2016 Rider Survey results show the cycling community loves the Brutal and Ashe County. With continued focus we plan to take the ride to the next level, show off our community spirit, and aim to entice more of the riders and families to the area.

What do we need from you?
Last year you helped us by advertising in our brochure (copy of last year’s is attached) and on our website www.blueridgebrutal.org. We distributed 2,500 brochures across multiple states. Thank you! For 2017 we want to offer you the same high quality benefits which will allow your business to be listed in our brochure and on our website with hot links to your website/Facebook should you desire. The fee to be included is only $50.
We hope you will continue to support the Blue Ridge Brutal and we appreciate your continued help. If you wish to participate, send your remittance to us by Friday, February 24, 2017 (invoice information is attached) so we can complete the artwork and commence our advertising campaign to maximum effect. We will send you a receipt by email.

We believe 2017 will be a big year for the Brutal and the local community.
